Congratulations to everyone who entered our “What happened next?" competition. We are pleased to announce that the winning entry is… Miruna from Colegiul National Gheorghe Lazar Sibiu in Romania. Her alternative ending was creative and beautifully drawn. It also captured the messages of hope and inspiration that are central to Ada’s Adventures. A prize we sent all of Miruna’s class copies of Ada’s Adventures in Science, as well as A0 posters of some comic book pages....

We are launching a competition for schools in EU to receive sets of Ada’s Adventures classroom packs and A0 art work. How to enter Complete the “What happened next?" activity with your students. Ada starts her journey

Today Edward posted out all the individual comic books to our amazing Kickstarter backers. 41 went around UK, 15 to the rest of the European Union, 32 to USA, 4 to Canada, 1 to Singapore, 1 to Japan, 1 to Australia, and 1 to Argentina - 92 in total! The lovely people in my small post office (inside Cardiff University Students' Union) were very patient and helped to put on all the international stamps....

Ada's Adventures in Shipping

We have just taken delivery of 15,000 copies of Ada’s Adventures in Science. That breaks down as 200 German copies, 800 Welsh copies, 3000 Spanish copies, and 11,000 English copies. They are filling a corner of Edward’s shared office in Cardiff University. The 200 German copies and 200 of the Welsh copies are exclusively for our 2 wonderful language backers. Out of the rest 900 will be sent out to schools backers have chosen (the custom classroom packs) and the rest will be distributed through our fantastic education partners around the globe....

Ada wins Blue Peter badges

We are very pleased to announce that Edward and Laura have been awarded a much sought after Blue Peter Badge for creating and sharing Ada’s Adventures. The programme’s hosts so happy with the aims of Ada’s comic books and how we were sharing science exploration with children across the world that they sent us these badge. As a life-long fan of Blue Peter, Edward is particularly pleased. For those of you not in the UK, Blue Peter is a children’s magazine programme which has been running on BBC for 60 years....
